Nickelodeon has moved into Sega World’s family theme park in Darling Harbour, Australia, with its own attraction called Nickelodeon TV Machine.

The attraction, set in an oversized television set, includes interactive games, computer kiosks, climbing apparatus and a retail space. It can hold as many as 100 children. Many of the activities in the attraction are tied to Nickelodeon programming.

‘Our entire orientation is toward innovative participation and interactivity with kids, both on and off the channel,’ says Karen Flischel, chief executive officer of Nickelodeon Australia.

Nickelodeon has already moved into theme park attractions outside the U.S. with Nickelodeon Outta Control, an attraction planned for Alton Towers in Staffordshire, England, later this year.
