Star Trek and other Viacom properties will likely have a bigger presence on software shelves as a result of a global co-publishing deal between GT Interactive Software and Simon & Schuster Interactive, a unit of Viacom. The multi-title, multi-platform agreement marries Simon & Schuster’s stable of properties and GT’s development, sales, marketing and distribution expertise. The first product for the PC will be based on Paramount Television’s Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
