Blockbuster (Dallas, Texas, 214-854-3000): Joyce Woodward has been promoted to VP, rental merchandising.

Buena Vista Home Video (Burbank, California, 818-567-5000): Mitch Koch is the new senior VP and general manager for BVHV in North America.

Buena Vista Home Entertainment Canada (Toronto, Canada, 416-596-7000): Charles Oliver has been named managing director and will oversee the management of the Canadian business in the marketing, selling and distribution of all Walt Disney, Touchstone, Hollywood Pictures, Jim Henson, DIC Toon-Time and Buena Vista videos.

Cinar Films (Montreal, Canada, 514-843-7070): David Ferguson, former director of international co-production at Nelvana Enterprises, has been appointed VP, Cinar Europe. He will be based in Cinar’s London office.

Children’s Television Workshop (New York, New York, 212-595-3456): Tina Sharkey has been appointed VP and general manager of CTW Online.

Computer City (Fort Worth, Texas, 817-390-3000): Nathan Morton has been named CEO and co-chair. He shares the chairmanship with John Roach. Avery More is the new vice chairman and Robert Boutin is the CFO.

Digital Domain (Venice, California, 310-314-2800): Ed Kummer, former executive of Walt Disney Feature Animation’s 3D Digital Department, has been appointed VP, digital operations.

DreamWorks SKG (New York, New York, 212-588-6000): DreamWorks SKG has opened a New York office to handle its East Coast business. Diane Loomis will oversee the New York marketing department, while Joe Sabatino will head up eastern sales. Ann Daly will partner with Ron Rocha to head up DreamWorks SKG’s feature animation division. Robert Cooper is now head of production.

Fox Kids Network (Los Angeles, California, 310-444-8543): Nancy McIsaac Redford has been named associate VP, programming and public affairs. She previously was director of development, Fox Kids and StoryMakers Productions.

The Gable Group (San Diego, California, 619-234-1300): Scott Pansky has been promoted to account supervisor in the promotions division.

Golden Books Family Entertainment (New York, New York, 212-583-6700): Richard K. Collins has been named executive VP, sales and retail marketing, North America, for the Golden Books Publishing Group. Stephen Weitzen has been named president of the new Golden Value Books and Special Markets business unit. Lisa Gubernick has been appointed VP, corporate communications.

Hallmark Entertainment (Los Angeles, California, 213-634-3000): David Picker is the new president of Hallmark Entertainment Products Worldwide. He will oversee the production and development of the company’s miniseries, telefilms and other TV projects.

King World Productions (Los Angeles, California, 310-826-1108): Delilah Loud is the new VP, print advertising and special events.

Lancit Media Entertainment (New York, New York, 212-977-9100): Susan Solomon has been named chairman of the board and CEO of the company. Cecily Truett, former chairman and CEO, has been appointed co-president along with Larry Lancit.

LIVE Entertainment (Van Nuys, California, 818-988-5060): Roy Millonzi has been named national director of sell-through. Millonzi is former a national video account executive at WEA.

Mainframe Entertainment (Vancouver, Canada, 604-681-3596): Helen Chapman has been named director of merchandising and licensing services. Mark Ralston is the new executive VP of business development.

McDonald’s USA (Oak Brook, Illinois, 620-623-3000): McDonald’s is reorganizing its U.S. business into five geographic divisions. Jack Greenberg has been named chairman and CEO, and Patrick Flynn is the new executive VP of strategic planning. Five new regional presidents have also been appointed: Alan Feldman, Northeast; Debra Koenig, Southeast; Kevin Dunn, Great Lakes; John Charlesworth, Midwest; and Michael Roberts, Western.

MGM Animation (Santa Monica, California, 310-449-3000): Jay Fukuto has been named senior VP, animation, while Paul Sabella and Jonathan Dern take on executive producer positions.

MGM Consumer Products (Santa Monica, California, 310-449-3000): Linda Berman is the new executive VP.

MicroProse (Alameda, California, 510-522-3584): John C. Leonhardt to VP, licensing. He is responsible for worldwide licensing of the company’s software products.

Nelvana (Toronto, Canada, 416-588-5571): Sally Moyer Kent has been named company CFO and senior VP, finance. Other appointments include Clive Smith to senior executive VP and Eleanor Olmsted to executive VP.

Nickelodeon (New York, New York, 212-258-8000): Thomas Ascheim, former VP, business development at Viacom New Media, New York, has been appointed VP, business development, publishing and multimedia at Nickelodeon.

Parachute Consumer Products (New York, New York, 212-691-1421): The newly formed merchandise licensing division of Parachute Properties has appointed Steve Herman as VP and general manager; Lee Ann Taylor, director of international licensing; Nel Yomtov, creative director; and Lina Pagano, product development manager.

Paramount Home Video (Sacramento, California, 916-565-7439): Elaine Perliss has been appointed director of product management. She was formerly director of marketing for Columbia TriStar Home Video.

Paramount Pictures (Hollywood, California, 213-956-5000): Clark Woods, former VP, Western Division, has been promoted to senior VP, assistant general sales manager for the domestic distribution division of the company’s Motion Picture Group.

PBS (Alexandria, Virginia, 703-739-5400): Cindy Johanson has been named VP, PBS Online. Don Jalbert has been appointed VP, PBS Learning Media, while Dan Hamby is the new senior director, program acquisitions, producer and station services, PBS Learning Media. PBS has also named Ann Blakey to director, licensing and distribution.

Rounder Kids (Montpelier, Vermont, 802-223-5825): Patti Casey has been appointed marketing specialist.

Sony Signatures (Culver City, California, 310-244-7788): Sony Signatures’ Film and Television Division has appointed Gregory Copploe as director of marketing services and special events. Sony Signatures is the consumer products division of Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Steven Style Group (New York, New York, 212-465-1290): Steven Style heads this new full-service marketing and communications firm specializing in the promotion of entertainment productions and products for kids, tweens and teens.

Time Inc. (New York, New York, 212-522-1212): Shaun Gurl has been named associate publisher of Sports Illustrated for Kids.

United Media (New York, New York, 212-293-8500): Eleanor Powers has been named VP, corporate development. Michael Zimbalist has been appointed general manager, on-line services. He is responsible for the company’s Web site.

Universal Studios Home Video (Los Angeles, California, 818-777-1000): Charlie Katz has been appointed senior VP of marketing.

Viacom Consumer Products (Hollywood, California, 213-956-5000): Simon Hewitt has been appointed to the position of managing director for the company’s recently established U.K. office.

Walt Disney Consumer Products (Burbank, California, 818-567-5401): Barton Boyd has been named chairman of Disney Consumer Products.

Interactive Television Entertainment (Copenhagen, Denmark, 45-3-326-5600): Jesper Helbrandt has been named managing director. Renž Bidstrup is the new head of development, responsible for researching and developing 3-D interactive animation entertainment concepts for the company.

Nickelodeon UK (London, England, 44-171-462-1000): Howard Litton is the new director of programmes and Shari Donnenfeld has been promoted to director of strategy and planning.
