Top-level executive changes have taken place at two of the leading Los Angeles-based kids entertainment companies: Fox Kids Network and animation studio Film Roman.

Fox’s high-profile chairman and CEO, Margaret Loesch, has been named vice chairman. It is unclear how the change in title will affect Loesch’s role at the children’s television network.

The title of CEO of Fox Kids has been assumed by Haim Saban, who is also chairman and CEO of Saban Entertainment.

At Film Roman, company founder Phil Roman remains chairman of the company, while David Pritchard joins as president and CEO.

Roman said in a statement that, in his new role, he will focus his efforts on the creative process, working with the company’s creative team on new projects, while Pritchard will be able to concentrate on the business aspects of the company.

Pritchard’s career in the entertainment industry spans 16 years, with stints at HBO, Gulf & Western (Paramount) and as the founder of two production companies.

Pritchard was most recently CEO and a partner in Pritchard/Ecclesine, a live-action and animated film and TV production company.
