Fresh from the 100 Acre Wood, Wigglin’ for Honey Pooh is one of five 1999 additions to Mattel’s Winnie the Pooh line. Complete with corduroy overalls and ears that wiggle when he’s fed honey, the new Pooh’s several-phrase vocabulary includes, ‘There’s a rumbly in my tummy.’ Aimed at all ages, the plush streets in May with an approximate retail price of US$35.

Other new Pooh line toys include the toddler-targeted Take Along Blocktivity Center for kids 12 months and up, which arrived last December with a suggested price of US$20; Sing `N Giggle plush for Pooh, Piglet and Tigger, which arrived January with an estimated price tag of US$20 each; the Growing Fun Mobile & Floor Toy, aimed at infants and hitting the streets for roughly US$30 in June; and the preschool Words and Sound Abound interactive See `N Say learning book for kids 18 months and up, slated for August arrival with a suggested price of US$30.
