BBC Worldwide (London, England, 44-181-576-2000): Ivan Mactaggart has been named business development manager of BBC Films. In this newly created position, Mactaggart will be in charge of raising co-production financing for feature films.

Buena Vista (Burbank, California, 818-295-5200): Joanne LoPinto is the new marketing director of the family and children’s magazine group in New York. Kim MacLeod will fill the newly created position of VP, magazine group development. She will oversee the development and management of magazine prototypes. Scott Schiller has been appointed senior VP of advertising sales and sponsorship for Buena Vista’s Internet group. He has been promoted from VP,

advertising sales and sponsorship at Disney Online.

Carlton International (London, England, 44-171-224-3339): Mark Gray has been appointed head of program development and acquisitions at Carlton. Gray has been Carlton’s head of marketing since 1996.

Columbia TriStar (Culver City, California, 310-244-4000): Maggie Monteith has been promoted to VP, strategic marketing at Columbia TriStar Pictures, worldwide marketing. Monteith previously served as director of marketing at Sony UK. Michael Helfand has been named VP, business affairs at Columbia TriStar Television, children’s programming. Helfand was formerly head of business and legal affairs at DIC Entertainment. Cheryl Lodinger is the new senior VP of marketing, North America for Columbia TriStar Home Video. She will be responsible for all the division’s domestic marketing initiatives.

Curious Pictures (New York, New York, 212-877-5560): Kris Greengrove is the new head of the cel animation department at Curious. In addition, David Kelley has been hired on as a designer/director.

Discovery Networks (Bethesda, Maryland, 301-986-1999): John Risinger is the new director of the south-central regions for Discovery Networks U.S. In addition, Patrice Andrews has been promoted to VP, production at Discovery Pictures. Having been with Discovery since 1987, she will be in charge of large-screen and specialty film productions.

Disney Store Worldwide (Burbank, California, 818-560-1000): Thomas Park is the new executive VP of Disney Store. He has been promoted from director of marketing.

Eidos Interactive (San Francisco, California, 415-547-1200): Rob Dyer has been named president of Eidos, making the move over from Crystal Dynamics. In addition, Scott Steinberg has been promoted to the newly created post of senior VP, marketing.

Fox Family Worldwide (Los Angeles, California, 310-235-5100): Roland Poindexter moves up to VP and head of programming at Fox Kids, and will manage the day-to-day operation of children’s programming development. Eric Rollman has been named president, Fox Family Productions. He will oversee production for Fox Family Channel, Fox Kids Network and Fox Kids Networks International. Randy Harris is Fox Family’s new director of operations and administration, John Roberts climbs to VP, new media from director of on-line entertainment, Rosslyn Forrester is now senior director of marketing services, John Scott joins as VP, home entertainment marketing and Rita Prosyak has been promoted to director, promotions.

France Animation (Paris, France, 33-1-53-35-9090): Lionel Marty has been appointed head of sales and acquisitions in the newly

established distribution department. He was formerly in charge of sales for French- and German-speaking countries at Télé Images.

Gaumont Multimedia (Paris, France, 33-1-40-18-7200): Stéphane Parthenay is the new president of Gaumont. He has been at Gaumont since 1991 as head of programming.

Golden Books (New York, New York, 212-547-6700): Colin Finkelstein has been promoted to CFO at Golden Books. He was formerly executive VP and GM of the children’s publishing group.

HIT Entertainment (London, England, 44-171-224-1717): Madeleine Warburg has been appointed senior development executive at HIT Productions. She has held positions at Barron Entertainment and Primetime Television.

itsy bitsy Entertainment Company (New York, New York, 212-989-3660): Don Gold has been named president of on-screen entertainment, and will be head of itsy bitsy’s new Los Angeles division. He was formerly senior VP of sales and marketing at Harvey Entertainment.

The Jim Henson Company (New York, New York, 212-794-2400): Paula Freeman is the new senior VP, corporate marketing worldwide. She will oversee global marketing plans for the company. Former marketing manager Amy Ginsberg has been upped to director of marketing. Robyn Kerner has been named associate VP of marketing. She is the former director of business development and marketing at MCA/Universal. Coming from Universal Studios Home Video, Mike Polis has joined Jim Henson’s L.A. office as VP, marketing.

McDonald’s (Oak Brooks, Illinois, 620-623-3000): Larry Zwain has been named senior VP of marketing for McDonald’s USA. Zwain joined McDonald’s from Boston Chicken, where he was president and CEO.

MTV Networks (New York, New York, 212-258-8000): Kathleen Hricik has been appointed executive VP, international program enterprises at MTV/VH1 International. Hricik will look after all international program sales and licensing/merchandising for Nickelodeon, VH1 and MTV.

National Geographic Television (Washington, D.C., 202-857-7000): Catherine Hagney is the new VP of Nat Geo’s domestic home video division. She is responsible for broadening NGT’s home video department in the areas of retail, direct response and specialty markets.

Nickelodeon UK (London, England, 44-171-462-1000): Paul Lindley has been named Nick UK’s first general manager. He was formerly finance director.

Paramount Television Group (Los Angeles, California, 323-956-5000): Terry Wood is now VP, programming for domestic television at Paramount. She is the former executive director of

development at Harpo Entertainment.

Pearson Television North America (New York, New York, 212-541-2800): Michael Bowman is the new director of marketing and promotions for Pearson, up from his former marketing manager position.

Salsa Distribution (Paris, France, 33-1-55-33-1300): Morgann Favennec is the new merchandising manager at Salsa. Favennec will be responsible for establishing licensing and merchandising programs with local agents in Latin America.

Télé Images (Paris, France, 33-1-44-35-1700): Philippe Alessandri has been appointed head of children’s programs, marking a move to expand animation production and develop more international co-productions.

The Licensing Company (London, England, 44-171-368-0066): Laura Shapiro has been

appointed director of entertainment licensing. In the newly created position, Shapiro will represent TLC at international licensing fairs.

Tiger Electronics (Vernon Hills, Illinois, 847-913-8100): Melanie Morris is Tiger’s new director of licensor relations. Morris

will be responsible for developing

relationships with producers.

Toy Manufacturers of America (New York, New York, 212-675-1141): Laura Goldstein has been named

director of marketing and shows at TMA. Goldstein is a former VP at Mecklermedia Corporation.

Toys `R’ Us (Paramus, New Jersey, 201-262-7800): Warren Kornblum

is the new chief marketing officer

and senior VP at Toys `R’ Us. He will be

responsible for the marketing division and developing partnerships with

advertising agencies. Francesca Brockett, formerly at Tricon Global Restaurants, has been named senior VP of strategic planning and business development.

Walt Disney Consumer Products (Burbank, California, 818-560-1000): Audrey Finci has been named executive VP of Walt Disney Art Classics/Disney Direct Marketing. She will continue to head up the Disney Consumer Products global operations and technology group.

Walt Disney Feature Animation (Burbank, California, 818-560-8000): Thomas Schumacher has been promoted to president Feature Animation and Theatrical Productions

after a ten-year stint in the animation department.

Warner Bros. (Burbank, California, 818-954-6000): Massey Rafani is the new senior VP, creative advertising for Warner Bros. Theatrical Marketing. Rafani will be responsible for all aspects of Warner’s advertising for domestic feature-film releases.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products (Burbank, California, 818-954-7890): Jordan Sollitto is the new senior VP of promotions and studio stores marketing. Sollitto will be responsible for the marketing and promotional tie-ins for the studio stores.
