The next offspring of Furbies, Furby Babies, are expected to start blabbing their way into stores starting in the middle of this month, according to Furby progenitor Tiger Electronics. Though smaller than their older siblings, FBs will begin speaking English phrases in roughly half the time it takes a regular Furby. The Furby Babies will also speak at a higher pitch and will start off by talking in Furbish babyspeak, which means, I suppose, that consumers will have even more difficulty in trying to figure out what they’re saying. Furby Babies come in six pastel colors and will retail for US$29.99 each.
