Celebrating outstanding achievement in kids advertising, the second annual Golden Marble Awards produced by KidScreen parentco Brunico Marketing shelled out praise and prizes to ad agencies, clients and creative service suppliers last month. The gala, which took place at Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers in New York City, saw a turnout of roughly 500 industry execs. Nearly 300 reps of agencies, clients, media and suppliers attended a two-day warm-up conference on advertising to kids that was held before the main event. The inaugural Promotion Awards were also presented in a separate ceremony on day one of the two-day confab.
In order to be eligible, the entries had to both target kids ages six to 13, and have appeared
in accredited media in the U.S. or Canada within the last year. Judging came from a panel of
senior creative professionals from a variety of U.S. ad agencies. Best of show was voted on by kids.
