Malaysia is Nick’s latest conquest
Nickelodeon’s presence in Asia keeps on growing with its eighth channel launch in the past 12 months in the region-this time, in Malaysia. Nick is also available in the Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and Nepal. The Malaysian channel launched on November 1 with cable operator ASTRO, a digital satellite broadcasting service with 200,000 subscribers. Standard Nick animated fare like Rugrats and Hey Arnold! are available on the 24-hour channel, along with live-action series Kenan and Kel and game shows Figure It Out and Global Guts.
Batman and Superman descend on China
