TRU continues its ‘revolutionary’ direct-to-retail concept with Liberty’s Kids

Following the Reese's Pieces trail left by E.T. as he waddled his way into Toys 'R' Us with an exclusive merch line developed by the Paramus, New Jersey-based toyco, exclusive product based on DIC Entertainment toon Liberty's Kids will march onto the toy chain's shelves next spring. Under terms of the three-year deal brokered by L.A.-based licensing and brand management company Cherokee, TRU will develop a complete line of branded toys, school supplies, accessories, party goods and apparel. Set to debut on PBS Kids this month, Liberty's Kids follows the adventures of two teens who work in Ben Franklin's print shop during the American Revolution.
