Globe to segue into top WBCP role as Romanelli prepares to ex

The founder of Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Dan Romanelli, has named a successor to take over the division when he steps down as president in July 2006. After more than 20 years of running WB's licensing machine, Romanelli will hand over day-to-day operations to Dreamworks Consumer Products head Brad Globe. On February 7, Globe joined the WBCP team as executive VP and GM, and is working closely with Romanelli to make the transfer of power as smooth as possible. Once Globe takes over next year, Romanelli will move into a creative entrepreneurial role at Warner Bros.
