As MAGIC wraps up in Las Vegas, WBCP has been busy lining up apparel licensees. First up, old-school fave The Wizard of Oz meets new-school trendy fashion label Heatherette. The property’s first line of junior t-shirts, sportswear and accessories should hit high-end and specialty retail later this year. Meanwhile, a new deal with urban apparel co. LOT29 will see DC Comics characters such as The Penguin, Batman and Green Lantern landing on a line of sportswear for young men and juniors. The clothes that play on retro comic designs are slated to roll out in department and urban specialty stores across the US this fall.
