One-liners: Noteworthy news nuggets

• Canuck pubcaster TV Ontario has picked up the second season of preschool live-actioner Hi-5 (45 x half hours) and new Nine Network Australia's live-action production The Shak (70 x 1 hours) from Southern Star International.
• Southern Star Entertainment has also sold the Australasian DVD rights for preschool series Raggs (130 x 39 minutes) to Paramount Home Entertainment. The show is produced by Southern Star in association with Raggs LLC for Seven Network Australia.
