PBS Kids is planning to mark Earth Day with a full week of new It’s A Big Big World episodes, as well as a two-hour special called PBS KIDS Share the Earth Day, scheduled for Friday, April 20.

The net’s preschool destination block, hosted by Miss Lori and Hooper, will feature a recycling theme that day, as will the block’s anchors Curious George, Clifford the Big Red Dog and Dragon Tales. Website pbskids.org is set to go green with exclusive Earth Day music videos from kids band Milkshake and online games and activities.

For older kids, the PBS Kids Go! block will feature enviro-themed eps of Arthur, Maya & Miguel, Fetch! With Ruff Ruffman and Cyberchase. And both blocks are also planning to drop in interstitials describing how kids can do their part to clean up the environment.
