• Toronto, Canada's Shaftesbury Sales Company has received a renewal order for its family-oriented live-action comedy Life With Derek from Disney Channels in the US, Italy, Germany, Latin America and Spain), CN's Toonami (UK), Daro (Central and Eastern Europe), Noga (Israel), Cuatro (Spain) and France 2.

• Jetix Europe has acquired the second season of Captain Flamingo from Breakthrough Entertainment and Heroic Film Company, both of which are based in Toronto. The 52 x 11-minute series is about the adventures of Milo Powell, a not-so-super superhero.
