It looks like Lunar Jim is about to explore more territories. Alliance Atlantis International Content Distribution has announced a number of broadcast sales for the stop-motion co-pro with DHX Media’s Halifax Film unit. Nickelodeon (The Netherlands and Belgium), Ireland’s RTE, Hungama TV in India, TV2 in Denmark and V-me in the US are the latest bunch of broadcasters to snap up the series, bringing its global platform up to 130 territories.
On the merch side of the brand’s planogram, licensing agent CPLG has been appointed to handle business in France and Benelux, while Kidz Entertainment is set to do the honors in Scandinavia.
Meanwhile, in the UK, agent BBC Worldwide has added to a growing list of licensees. Martin Yaffe (wheeled toys), Cohen & Wilks International (daywear), Cooneen & Misirli (nightwear and underwear) and Portico Design (stationery and paper goods) join the efforts of worldwide master toy licensee Fisher-Price.
Jim also has a life Down Under, where licensing agent ABC Enterprises has secured deals with Designworks for apparel and Impact Rock Merchandise for posters and stickers.
In addition, a third Lunar Jim DVD will hit Canadian and UK retail in the coming weeks.
