NCircle Entertainment has taken on CGI preschool series Hopla from Belgium's Bert Smets Productions, and will rep the property exclusively in TV broadcast and merchandising circles. A full 104 eps of Hopla are in the can, and Smets expects to deliver an additional 26 every year until 2011.

Microsoft has added instant messaging capability to its Xbox 360 platform, bringing it one step closer to becoming an all-encompassing entertainment device. The free update will be available on May 7 through Xbox Live or Xbox.com.
