With an eye to 360-degree property development, L.A.’s DIC Entertainment has created a global brand management division to further integrate its TV, home entertainment and consumer products branches. Nancy Fowler, current head of global sales, will oversee the new division and continue to head up domestic and international consumer products, TV sales, home entertainment and marketing at DIC, reporting to president Jeffrey Edell.

The move has spurred a shuffling of the executive team. Leila Pirnia steps up as VP of the brand management division, while Geri Robert has been named director of brand management and is looking after girls property Horseland. Additionally, Shawn Brower has been named director of brand management and will manage the Strawberry Shortcake and McDonald’s IPs.

Elsewhere at DIC, Leslie Nelson is now SVP and MD of EMEA and will oversee the company’s consumer products business in Europe, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Nordic regions. And Ryan Gagerman becomes VP and regional manager of Asia-Pacific, looking after DIC’s television, home entertainment and consumer products throughout Australasia. Finally, Don Waite steps up as VP and regional manager of Latin America, managing DIC’s TV, home entertainment, and consumer products business across Latin America and Spanish-language TV in the US.
