DIC Entertainment’s CBS Saturday is getting an overhaul and a new content deal with American Greetings Properties will play a significant role in the revamp.

The new block launching this coming September will include two new AG shows: an updated 52 x 11-minute Care Bears series and the wholly original Sushi Pack(52 x 11 minutes), a 2-D take on the adventures of crime-fighting sushi. And American Greetings IP Strawberry Shortcake, which is managed by DIC, will get her own 26 x 22-minute toon.

New DIC production I Was a Teenage Dinosaur (highlighted in KidScreen‘s most recent ‘Cool New Shows’ feature) also gets a berth on the block, while Horseland and Cake will be returning.
