Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends’ retail presence is getting a significant boost next month via an exclusive deal with trendy mall retailer Hot Topic. A dedicated boutique targeting tweens and teens featuring the Cartoon Network property is set to roll into the retailer’s some 700 outlets across the US. Recent deals with new licensees Loungefly, H.E.R. and T.U.K. will bolster SKU selection in accessories, bags, jewellery, stationery and footwear and fill out the product offering for the Hot Topic promo.

Under the agreement, Loungefly is creating a full line of bags, totes and purses, buttons, lanyards and cell phone charms, while H.E.R. Accessories is manufacturing custom jewellery and a range of accessories including belt buckles and bandanas. Meanwhile, T.U.K. is looking after footwear and developing canvas and slip-on shoes.
