Canuck tooncaster dips into VOD and Mobile

Toronto, Canada-based 24/7 net Teletoon is launching two new digital services in the next three weeks. On April 27th Teletoon will begin offering 50 shows; bundled into 10 unique packages, to Shaw Video On Demand cable subscribers (expect 20 bundles to be available by July).

Toronto, Canada-based 24/7 net Teletoon is launching two new digital services in the next three weeks. On April 27th Teletoon will begin offering 50 shows; bundled into 10 unique packages, to Shaw Video On Demand cable subscribers (expect 20 bundles to be available by July). On the same date, the net is making four shows available for free on Rogers’ (the country’s other major cable provider) On Demand digital service.

Teletoon is also migrating to mobile on May 15th for the first time. Telus wireless customers across Canada will be able to watch their favourite Teletoon cartoons on Telus Mobile TV, being offered in both English and French.
