People moves: Whyville.com looks to Greenwald for answers

Eric Greenwald has joined Whyville.com, an established online virtual world for tweens, as the EVP of advertising sales and business development. Greenwald's main role revolves around developing multi-tiered advertising programs that integrate sponsors into the virtual world experience.

Eric Greenwald has joined Whyville.com, an established online virtual world for tweens, as the EVP of advertising sales and business development. Greenwald’s main role revolves around developing multi-tiered advertising programs that integrate sponsors into the virtual world experience. He joins the company after a stint as SVP of new media sales and marketing at DIC Entertainment where he helped develop the company’s online and new media initiatives.

Prior to working at DIC, he served as VP of immersive advertising and business development for NeoPets, working with clients such as McDonald’s, Disney, Warner Bros., Paramount Pictures and New Line Cinema.
