People moves: Atari grows board of directors

New York-based interactive entertainment company Atari has appointed Jean-Michel Perbet to the company's board of directors, bringing its ranks up to eight members. Perbet is a deputy COO of Infogrames Entertainment SA, Atari's majority shareholder, and is also the president of Atari Europe.

New York-based interactive entertainment company Atari has appointed Jean-Michel Perbet to the company’s board of directors, bringing its ranks up to eight members. Perbet is a deputy COO of Infogrames Entertainment SA, Atari’s majority shareholder, and is also the president of Atari Europe.

PErbet has more than 25 years of experience in the European consumer electronics, market including stints as COO of Sony Europe and president of Sony’s consumer electronics operations.
