Disney Channel bows in Turkey and broadens in Poland

Disney Channel Turkey launched in Istanbul yesterday as per a multi-year deal with digital platform Digiturk, which picked up exclusive broadcast rights to the 24/7 kidnet in the region. The channel will be available on a subscription basis, and its programming lineup will offer a balanced diet of live action, TV movies, animation and preschool shows, with Hannah Montana, High School Musical, Kim Possible, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and My Friends Tigger & Pooh all feeding into the launch.
