Joost, the world’s first broadcast-quality internet television service, has inked a deal with Hasbro to air its content. Starting later this month, Joost viewers will be able to watch two channels based on well-known properties Transformers and G.I. Joe.
The Transformers channel will feature full-length episodes of the original G1 Transformers animated series. The G.I. Joe channel will broadcast full-length episodes of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, which originally aired in 1982. These programs will be available exclusively online through the Joost network in the US.
Along with the Hasbro deal, Joost has also signed pacts with Turner Broadcasting System for episodes of Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Robot Chicken, Sony Picture Television and the National Hockey League.
