Anime Network has inked new subscription deals that will give the channel access to another 500,000 North American households.

US cable broadband operator Suddenlink will make Anime Network’s 30-hour SVOD package available to approximately 200,000 households in the West Virginia area this month, for a rate of US$6.99 a month. New customers can also enjoy a free two-hour preview of the channel’s kid-and adult-focused anime offerings.

North of the 49th parallel, the Canadian Cable System Alliance will offer the same 30-hour package to 300,000 households across the nation, with a staggered rollout starting later this month.

With these latest deals in its pocket, Anime Network now boasts a more than 95% penetration into all VOD-enabled households in North America.
