People moves: Kidrobot names Roe CEO

New York City-based art toys and apparel company Kidrobot has named Cynthia M. Roe as its new CEO. In her new post, Roe will work with the company's founder Paul Budnitz to strategically position the brand for growth, focusing on expanding the company's successful apparel and toy lines, and developing other product categories. As well, Roe will work with Kidrobot's major investor Wildbrain on a variety of multimedia and entertainment initiatives.

New York City-based art toys and apparel company Kidrobot has named Cynthia M. Roe as its new CEO. In her new post, Roe will work with the company’s founder Paul Budnitz to strategically position the brand for growth, focusing on expanding the company’s successful apparel and toy lines, and developing other product categories. As well, Roe will work with Kidrobot’s major investor Wildbrain on a variety of multimedia and entertainment initiatives.

Roe has more than 17 years of experience in the apparel industry, notably as the COO and EVP of the Polo Jeans Company from 1997 to 2002. She began her career in 1989 at Sun Apparel, a licensee of Polo Ralph Lauren and current subsidiary of Jones Apparel Group.
