• 4Kids Entertainment has inked a deal with Cox Communications to carry 4Kids TV On Demand, bringing the service's US household coverage to 13.5 million.

• Cartoon Network is using its Toonami block to help promote Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer that hits theatres on June 15th. On Saturday May 26 a custom spot will run revealing the Silver Surfer with a 1-800 toll-free number in its wake. Viewers are encouraged to call the number for a chance to win a trip to California for surfing lessons or one of several Fantastic Four toy sets from Hasbro.

• Wayne, New Jersey-based mega retailer Toys 'R' Us has launched an online gift card service. Customers can create personalized gift cards and use them to purchase product in-store or online at www.Toysrus.com.
