UK-based filmco Handmade has appointed DIC Entertainment as the worldwide licensing agent for classic girls book and entertainment property Eloise. The L.A.-based brand management company is developing a full-on L&M program for girls ages four to eight centered around the adventurous character.
Toys, books, apparel and accessories are scheduled to hit international retail in spring 2008 to coincide with the release of Eloise in Paris, a new live-action feature film. A Broadway show is also in the works.
