Ever wondered how it would feel to sip on a Butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks? Warner Bros. Entertainment and Universal Orlando Resort are partnering to create an immersive Harry Potter-themed environment based on J.K. Rowling’s blockbuster boy-wizard book series.

But fans have a bit of a wait ahead of them. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal’s Island of Adventure is slated to open in 2009. The Orlando, Florida-based theme park’s guests will then get the full Hogwarts treatment. From wandering the school grounds and taking a stroll in the Forbidden Forest to visiting the village of Hogsmeade, kids will get to play out their own HP adventures.

Stuart Craig, an Academy Award-winning production designer, is heading up the creative design for the site that will also include rides, attractions and well-known shops and restaurants.

The sixth installment of the film franchise, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, arrives in theaters on July 11.
