Mr. Bean gets a South Asian agent

After the success of the film release of Mr. Bean's Holiday in India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh, UK-based Tiger Aspect Productions has signed on Toonz Licensing as its Bean agent for the South Asian market.

After the success of the film release of Mr. Bean’s Holiday in India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh, UK-based Tiger Aspect Productions has signed on Toonz Licensing as its Bean agent for the South Asian market.

British comic Rowan Atkinson’s quirky and mostly quiet character now has 15 international agents in 34 different countries and Toonz is aiming to build its licensing strategies on Mr. Bean’s film, DVD and TV presence in the region. Right now Cartoon Network has territory broadcast rights to the live-action and animated Bean series.
