People moves: Disney Asia-Pacific appoints Shum to research post

Disney Channel Asia-Pacific has named Daniel Shum to head up consumer strategy and research as VP. He will be responsible for directing brand and consumer research studies in the region, as well as fine-tuning marketing and programming plans for key franchises. He'll also be in charge of supporting brand extensions and new media.

Disney Channel Asia-Pacific has named Daniel Shum to head up consumer strategy and research as VP. He will be responsible for directing brand and consumer research studies in the region, as well as fine-tuning marketing and programming plans for key franchises. He’ll also be in charge of supporting brand extensions and new media.

Shum comes to Disney with a background in strategic consulting and most recently served as Research International’s MD for Taiwan and Hong Kong.
