Wayne, New Jersey-based toy retail giant Toys ‘R’ Us has named Claire Babrowski to the post of EVP and COO. In her new remit, Babrowski will head up the company’s worldwide logistics and IT functions, while also overseeing TRU’s global franchise operations and scouting out chances for new growth in the Pacific region.
Babrowski most recently held down the post of acting CEO, president and COO of RadioShack. Prior to that she worked 30 years at McDonald’s, where she eventually moved up from part-time employee to SEVP and chief restaurant operations officer.
