One-liners: Noteworthy news nuggets

• Miffy and Friends will debut on public television stations across the US on July 7th. The stop-motion animated series featuring the iconic bunny is based on the classic children's book series by Dutch author-illustrator Duck Bruna. Big Tent Entertainment, the property's North American licensing agent, has also just partnered with toyco Play Along to launch a new plush line based on the series.

• 4Kids Entertainment has delayed the launch of the Chaotic Trading Card Game and website until late summer 2007. The original launch was scheduled for June 27, 2007, but chairman and CEO Al Kahn says that the company needs more time to beta-test the website.
