Matrix Holdings has acquired Funrise Toy Corporation, the manufacturer of Gazillion Bubbles. This is the second major acquisition for Matrix in the US, as the company also acquired infant/preschool toy manufacturer Shelcore in 2005. Shelcore and Funrise will remain two separate entities and operate independently under their current management structures.
Founded in 1987, Funrise boasts a portfolio of products that includes ZOOOOS, Play ‘n Pretty and holds Disney and Sesame Street licenses.
