Toot & Puddle series headed for Noggin in 2008

Washington, DC-based National Geographic Kids Entertainment and Mercury Filmworks have landed a US broadcast home for 52 x 11-minute Toot & Puddle. Noggin, Nickelodeon's commercial-free preschool network, has snapped up the series.
Scheduled for a fall 2008 delivery, the series has been pre-sold to Treehouse (Canada), TV2 (Norway) and Nickelodeon (UK, Australia and Germany) and commenced production after the first holiday special Toot & Puddle: I'll Be Home for Christmas aired on Noggin last December.

Washington, DC-based National Geographic Kids Entertainment and Mercury Filmworks have landed a US broadcast home for 52 x 11-minute Toot & Puddle. Noggin, Nickelodeon’s commercial-free preschool network, has snapped up the series.

Scheduled for a fall 2008 delivery, the series has been pre-sold to Treehouse (Canada), TV2 (Norway) and Nickelodeon (UK, Australia and Germany) and commenced production after the first holiday special Toot & Puddle: I’ll Be Home for Christmas aired on Noggin last December.

Episode themes are based on the Toot & Puddle book series by renowned children’s author and illustrator Holly Hobbie, which have sold more than one million copies worldwide.
