People moves: S&S hires Scholastic vet

Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing has dipped into competitor Scholastic's editorial pool and pulled out Anica Rissi to take the post of editor at imprint Simon Pulse. At Scholastic, Rissi edited teen and middle-grade books including former Teen People deputy editor Nin Malkin's Orange Is The New Pink, Robin Wasserman's Chasing Yesterday and Aimee Friedman's The Year My Sister Got Lucky. She also developed and oversaw the publisher's Candy Apple tween line.
