BKN gears up for HD production

Prodco BKN is attempting to catch the HD wave as it opens up a new London-based facility specifically designed to produce proprietary animated projects. The operation will consist of a fixed-capital investment in high-quality hardware and software, and the plan is to produce two 26-ep series annually. The company's creative and production staff has already begun extensive training on the ins and outs of working in HD.

Prodco BKN is attempting to catch the HD wave as it opens up a new London-based facility specifically designed to produce proprietary animated projects. The operation will consist of a fixed-capital investment in high-quality hardware and software, and the plan is to produce two 26-ep series annually. The company’s creative and production staff has already begun extensive training on the ins and outs of working in HD.

First up to get the treatment is Flintstone-esque 26 x 30-minute comic toon Stone Age and its accompanying 80-minute movie, scheduled for a late 2008 delivery.
