• Wildbrain's hot property Yo Gabba Gabba!, which sprang from the minds of a group of Gen-X dads, is bringin' da funk to preschool nets Nick Jr. and Noggin for the first time on Monday, August 20. Entitled 'Eat,' the premiere ep features everyone's favorite hobbit Elijah Wood getting on down with his 'Puppet Master' dance moves. (Seriously, he's a funky little dude. Check it out.)

• Woodland Hills, California-based Showcase Entertainment has sold live-action/adventure series Flight 29 Down (30 x half hours) to Astral Media's Family Channel in Canada. The series features Corbin Bleu from High School Musical.

Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has announced the chain-wide expansion of the Cranium Lending Library, which is now available in the bulk of Hyatt's properties in the US. The hotelier and board game manufacturer entered into a partnership in 2006 to provide Hyatt guests with complimentary access to Cranium games and an organized Fun Family Hour of play.
