People moves: Warner Bros. Interactive ups Scott to SVP

Less than a year since joining Warner Bros. in the Home Entertainment division, Ron Scott has been upped to SVP of worldwide sales and distribution at WB's Interactive Entertainment division. Scott's current responsibilities will be expanded, with a focus on developing a global direct-to-retail game business for WBHE, as well as building up and managing relationships with WB's distribution partners.

Less than a year since joining Warner Bros. in the Home Entertainment division, Ron Scott has been upped to SVP of worldwide sales and distribution at WB’s Interactive Entertainment division. Scott’s current responsibilities will be expanded, with a focus on developing a global direct-to-retail game business for WBHE, as well as building up and managing relationships with WB’s distribution partners.

Having previously held executive positions at Activision and Crave Entertainment, Scott helped develop the direct-to-retail publishing model for WBIE and finalized distribution deals with Codemasters, Brash Entertainment and Empire Interactive.
