You’re never too young to create your own content. At least, PBS Kids Sprout hopes that’s the case as it launches the first user-generated, art-sharing online community for preschoolers and their families in the US.
The revamped preschool destination, which is available online, on TV and on-demand, will have a My Refrigerator section that allows parents to upload their children’s favorite photos and homemade artwork; communicate with friends and family through the private Sprout Mail center; keep track of their preschooler’s favorite games and activities; and view fun event dates and activity recommendations from Sprout.
To get the ball rolling today, visitors to SproutOnline.com can upload photos of their refrigerator at home showing off their family photos, children’s artwork and pictures of their Sprout friends – for a chance to win a new home computer with kid-friendly accessories, courtesy of Chester Creek Technologies. All photos must be submitted online by October 15, 2007. The official rules and requirements can be found on the website.
