Mediatoon International signs slew of deals

Mediatoon International has been pretty busy this summer. The Paris, France-based distributor has just signed a gaggle of deals with buyers from across the globe. TSR (Switzerland), Z@pp (Netherlands), NRK (Norway), Radio Canada (Canada), Al Jazeera (Middle East), VRT and RTBF (Belgium), 2M (Morocco), RTL 2 (Germany) and Noga (Israel) have scooped up Spirou & Fantasio (26 x 30 minutes), which already airs in France on M6.

Mediatoon International has been pretty busy this summer. The Paris, France-based distributor has just signed a gaggle of deals with buyers from across the globe. TSR (Switzerland), Z@pp (Netherlands), NRK (Norway), Radio Canada (Canada), Al Jazeera (Middle East), VRT and RTBF (Belgium), 2M (Morocco), RTL 2 (Germany) and Noga (Israel) have scooped up Spirou & Fantasio (26 x 30 minutes), which already airs in France on M6.

Canal + Family and France 3, meanwhile, have bought 40 x 30-minute series Time Jam- Valerian & Laureline , which is also slated to bow on Spain’s TV3 Catalunya, RTL Club in Belgium and Noga. And 52 x 13-minuter Yakari has been picked up by NRK, FST (Finland), Telequebec (Canada), Rai 2 (Italy), RTP (Portugal), RTBF, TSR, Teletoon ( Nigeria, Kenya and France). Mediatoon expects to deliver 26 new eps to the nets in November.

Finally, the fully re-mastered 39 x 30-minute The Adventures of Tintin is heading to Portuguese airwaves on RTP.
