One-liners: Noteworthy news nuggets

• Toronto, Canada-based Nelvana has gone into production on another 26 eps of animated series Grossology and Di-Gata Defenders. The first season of Grossology has been sold to broadcasters including Discovery Kids (Canada, US), while Jetix UK, Nickelodeon France, TF1 and 4KidsTV have aired Di-Gata's first season.

• Preschool puppet series Mustard Pancakes will debut on the all-new Ion Television Network on Friday, October 12. The preschool franchise currently has a DVD and CD deal with Universal Music and Video Distribution.

• Fort Lee, New Jersey-based Giddy Gander Company has inked an apparel and headwear license with Crossroads Designs for The Wumblers. The preschool series airs on Trinity Broadcasting Network in the US.
