Laurent Dumeau has been appointed VP of commercial and network for EMEA at NBC Universal’s international operations. The newly created position keeps Dumeau in Paris, where he’ll take a leadership role in plotting NBC Universal’s strategy to develop new channel businesses in new territories across EMEA.
He’ll also be working with the global networks’ various local MDs to build new partnerships in other territories.
Dumeau first joined Universal Studios’ London office in 1999, and moved to Paris to assume the role of finance director in 2001. In 2005, he was named CFO and deputy MD of French-speaking channels.
