Teletoon gives props, cash to new crop of animators

If you're wondering what the next generation of animators is up to, it might be worth checking out the 11 young Canadian animators singled out this year by Teletoon. The 24/7 animation net awarded its Teletoon Animation Scholarships on Tuesday, doling out a total of US$70,000 in prize money. Aven Fisher, from King's View Academy in Halifax, NS, took first place in the Entrance Category for his toon, Herbert, while Chang Dai from Toronto took the second spot for Ain't What It Used to Be.
