• Real D the digital 3-D company, has inked an international distribution partnership with Odeon and UCI, the 1,600-screen pan-European cinema exhibitor, to install up to 500 Real D 3-D cinema systems across Europe. The deal means new 3-D theaters will begin popping up in Spain, Italy, UK, Ireland, Germany Austria and Portugal over the next year.

• Santa Monica, California-based The Game Factory is launching its new Strawberry Shortcake game for the Nintendo DS, Strawberry Shortcake - The Four Season Cake (US$19.99) at North American mass retail on November 15, 2007.
