• Canadian pubcaster CBC will bow Cookie Jar Entertainment's Busytown Mysteries (Hurray For Huckle!) on October 29 at 8:30 a.m. during its preschool block.

• Video game publisher Ubisoft has secured the voice talent and likenesses of leading actors from the upcoming film Beowulf for its video game spin-off. Sir Anthony Hopkins, Ray Winstone, Brendan Gleeson and Sebastian Roche will all appear in the interactive version of the mixed CGI-live action film hitting theaters in November.
