Vancouver, Canada-based Bardel Entertainment is going bi-coastal with the appointment of Toronto-based Sarah Haasz as its new director of development.

Haasz just finished a 12-year stint with Corus Entertainment, spending 10 years working in the original programming department on more than 1,500 hours of content for kidsnets YTV, Treehouse TV and Discovery Kids Canada. At Bardel, she’ll be overseeing the development slate while working with the company’s team in Vancouver on shows that are currently in production.

Over its 20 year history, toon house Bardel has partnered the likes of DreamWorks, Disney, Warner Bros., 4Kids Entertainment and Star Farm Productions.
