Setting up a European office under the experienced hand of brand and licensing director Katie Foster is certainly paying off for LazyTown, which heads to MIPTV next week with a whack of new consumer products partners attached to its namesake property.

In the UK and Ireland, William Lamb Footwear (children’s footwear) and Zap Ltd. (soft furnishings) are the latest licensees to join LazyTown’s entrenched merch program. And in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, SIGG Switzerland, Trade Mark Collections Ltd. and Euromic A/S have come on-board, along with Original Buff for headwear across multiple European territories.

Spanish demand for LazyTown books and DVDs will soon be met through a deal with Radiotelevision Espanola, and a magazine and sticker license with Panini Espana has also been signed.
