Lionsgate takes on LeapFrog DVD biz and signs development deal

In a two-pronged deal that will significantly bolster its educon catalogue, Lionsgate has picked up the home entertainment rights to LeapFrog Enterprises' DVD library and brokered a partnership for developing, producing and distributing a raft of new direct-to-DVD features with the company's chief creative exec and producer Chris D'Angelo.
